1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using Athena Intelligence ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Service.
2. Description of Service
Athena Intelligence is an AI-powered document analysis service that generates strategic, technical, and executive intelligence briefs from EU policy documents. The Service uses artificial intelligence to analyze uploaded documents and produce summaries and insights.
3. User Accounts
To use the Service, you must:
- Create an account with accurate information
- Be at least 18 years old
- Keep your account credentials secure
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
4. Credits and Payments
Credits
- New users receive 1 free credit upon registration
- Additional credits can be purchased individually or via subscription
- Each brief generation consumes 1 credit
- Credits are non-transferable
- Purchased credits do not expire
Subscriptions
- Subscriptions are billed monthly
- Subscription credits are granted at the start of each billing period
- You may cancel your subscription at any time
- Upon cancellation, you retain access until the end of your billing period
Refunds
Due to the nature of digital services, refunds are generally not provided once credits have been purchased or used. If you believe there has been an error, please contact us at hello@athenaintel.eu.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree NOT to:
- Upload documents containing malware or malicious code
- Upload documents you do not have the right to share
- Use the Service for any illegal purpose
- Attempt to reverse engineer or compromise the Service
- Share your account credentials with others
- Resell or redistribute the Service without permission
- Use automated systems to access the Service excessively
6. Intellectual Property
Your Content
You retain ownership of all documents you upload. By uploading documents, you grant us a limited license to process them for the purpose of generating briefs.
Generated Briefs
Intelligence briefs generated by the Service are provided for your use. You may use, modify, and distribute the generated content for your business purposes.
Our Service
The Athena Intelligence platform, including its design, features, and technology, remains our intellectual property.
7. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer
Important: The briefs generated by Athena Intelligence are produced by artificial intelligence and are intended for informational purposes only.
- AI-generated content may contain errors or inaccuracies
- Briefs should not be considered legal, financial, or professional advice
- You should verify important information independently
- We recommend consulting with qualified professionals for critical decisions
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Athena Intelligence and its operators shall not be liable for:
- Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
- Decisions made based on AI-generated content
- Service interruptions or technical issues
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Athena Intelligence from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.
10. Service Modifications
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We will provide reasonable notice for significant changes that affect your use of the Service.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Unused credits are non-refundable upon termination for cause.
12. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Belgium. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Brussels, Belgium.
13. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
